12 Practical Steps to Making Your Marriage Heaven on Earth: No Matter Your Current Situation, Good, Bad, or Ugly; Your Marriage Can Be Better

by Jamie McGuire
Nina Grey thought surviving her initial brush with the supernatural was the hardest part of her life. Now, juggling a demanding internship at her late father’s shipping company and the crushing weight of her friends’ departures, she finds herself haunted by terrifying, prophetic nightmares. As her health spirals, the line between her mundane college existence and the celestial war brewing around her begins to shatter.
Jared Ryder is done standing on the sidelines. Driven by a desperate need to save Nina from a dark fate, he risks everything to reclaim a forbidden relic from the clutches of Hell. As the stakes escalate, the tension between these two reaches a fever pitch. Their connection deepens, yet they are forced to navigate a treacherous path where enemies lurk in every shadow and old alliances crumble under the pressure of divine intervention.
This gripping installment of the Providence series masterfully blends the high-stakes thrills of a paranormal academy setting with the slow-burn intensity of an enemies-to-lovers romance. Jamie McGuire delivers a heart-pounding narrative that forces Jared to choose between fighting a lonely war against the underworld or igniting a catastrophic conflict with Heaven itself. If you crave atmospheric suspense and star-crossed love, this is your next obsession.

Jamie Mcguire TOTALLY blew me away with this sequel. She is such an amazing writer and I hope that she continues to keep writing and sharing her fascinating ideas with us. Requiem is a sequel to the first book called Providence. The story kicks off a few months after the ending of Providence. Nina is having nightmares that are haunting her everynight. Her health is quickly declining and Jared (being the wonderful fiance that he is) is on a mission to save her at any cost. Cover: The cover for...

This book was even better than the first and that is saying something because I LOVED the first book. I love this author so much, she writes such compelling and exciting stories. The love story was so beautiful in the first book but besides that there wasn't a whole lot to the first book. I liked that in this book you learned a lot more about the angels and demons and that it delved more into Nina's ancestry. I was completely wrapped up in the story instantly just like all her other books and...

Initial Thoughts: I liked the first book in the trilogy, Providence, so I thought I would give the sequel a go. Pros: The relationship between Jared and Nina grows and strengthens. Not only does this book continue the romance story line of the first book, it definitely adds a mystery story line as well. Double the intrigue! This book deals a lot more with the Ryel family. We get to know Jared's brother Bex a lot better in this book, and I really like him. He starts out as the cutie younger...

I freaking love this story!!! This series is better than Twilight would make an awesome movie!!!!! Jamie's imagination is awesome!!!! Beautiful love story!!!! “Jared paced, brooded, and once in a while, when his thoughts were particularly tormented, he winced. The color had long left his face as he played back the different scenarios in his mind. Back and forth he paced, so many times that I watched the floor, wondering when he would wear a trail. His inner turmoil could have set the room on...
