I’m rereading the entire series in order this time. It seems like every series has a character like Zen. You kinda have it figured out before the end of the book because this particular story is not the same as other series but similar. It’s the type of book that has mother’s heart breaking and wish they could’ve saved the child. Because some demons have mated with humans and had offspring, those children come into their demon powers when they get older. They are known as demi-demon. The Knight's are charged with keeping the demi-demons safe while they learn to control their powers and also keep other demons and shifters from kidnapping the demi's and enslaving them. I personally recommend this story for all looking for a dark knight in shining armour. The protagonist, Zenon, is relatable and so well written that he draws you in more than his lead in lady, Mia. Although I preferred the first book in this series - Zenon really felt natural in this storyline and you'll fall for his nature and ending. This is definitely worth purchasing as it is full ofsuspense and leaves you feeling whole. Beautiful character creation by this author. Give it a try if you like...
