Intuition: Premonition, Book 2

by Amy Bartol

About this book

Evie Eden is trapped in a harrowing dance of survival, caught between the suffocating pull of a dangerous predator and her desperate need to remain human. After the earth-shattering events of the series opener, she finds herself struggling to resist an intoxicating, lethal attraction that threatens to consume her soul. As the line between savior and captor blurs, Evie must fight to keep her heart and mind intact before the sickness infecting her becomes her permanent reality.

This gripping installment of the Premonition series plunges deeper into the dark, exhilarating world of angels and supernatural warfare. Amy Bartol masterfully weaves a tale of high-stakes paranormal romance, utilizing dual perspectives to heighten the tension. The narrative thrives on the addictive "enemies-to-lovers" trope, where the chemistry is as volatile as the life-or-death stakes. It is a slow-burn journey where every touch feels like a threat and every breath is a potential surrender.

If you are craving a YA urban fantasy that balances intense emotional turmoil with a pulse-pounding supernatural plot, this series is your next obsession. The atmospheric writing and complex power dynamics make it impossible to put down. Prepare for a visceral experience that will leave you breathless and desperate for the next chapter.

Life As Supermom Book Review

June 4, 2013

If you know me, you know that I have four large bookcases full of books. I LOVE books. I gravitate towards books like a sailor would to a topless mermaid. Garage sales with books, I buy boxes at a time. I can't resist books! At night, you will almost always find me in bed with a book or my Kindle. Last week, as I was browsing through the books for sale on Amazon, I discovered The Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol. Inescapable Intuition Indebted Incendiary The first thing I noticed about these...

Love Evie...

Original review: 5 stars -- Yup, loved it again. In reality, there are quite a few things that bug me, but I love the books as a whole so much that the little things just slide on by and I still give it a 5. In general though, I am not a big fan of love triangles, and this one is painful to watch. But it was kind of fun to see Russell's POV for a while. Lovin all the characters, even some of the evil ones....loving all the new little side characters (Phaedrus intrigues me)....basically can't...

\"I love thee best, O most best, believe it\"

Intuition is the second book in the Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol. It is YA urban fantasy/paranormal book told from Evie and Russell’s POV. Books must be read in order to understand the plot. Intuition picks up shortly after Inescapable ends. Evie is filled with such loss and nightmares she shuts herself away in her room at Reeds. Buns comes home early from Russell’s to help Evie. The book’s descriptions doesn’t do the story justice. Without giving spoilers, enemies are coming at Evie...

One word: Brennus

Angels, vampires and half-breeds, oh my!! For the love of Angels and Gancanagh everywhere...Amy Bartol did it again and I love her for it!!! Evie, Reed, Russell and the rest of the crew are back!!! There was a page or two that felt a little bit like Twilight but I knew that Amy wouldn't do that to me and I was confident she wouldn't go down that road. And she didn't! Woot-woot!! A good portion of the book is dedicated to her and Russell (or at least that's how it seemed to me) and you know how...

Couldn't put my kindle down

Hello again! Mel here to share my thoughts on Intuition, book #2 of the Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol. Now having fallen in love with the Evie's story I am happy to say that this second installment picked up where Inescapable left off. Evie is living with the beautifully alluring Reed, her Soul-mate Russell, and the Oh So Stern-facey Zephyr. Learning at the end of the previous book (which hopefully you've read as there may be a bit of spoilers in this review, if not STOP and go read it...
