I signed up to be an ARC reader at the beginning of the series. Normally I'm not much of a slow burn kind of girl but after I finishes the first book in the series I loved it! The way the characters developed and grew was wonderful and seeing the love grow was beautiful. When I received the email the second book was available for those that ARC read the first I jumped right for it! Once again it didn't disappoint. Another beautiful slow burn with a great storyline and character development....

Flames and Ashes hooked me in with the plot! Dragons and fallen angels was something I had to read. The book had just enough mystery around the main story line and the characters that I didnt put it down. The way the fmc used nicknames made sense but slowed me down trying to remember who she was talking about, and I wish some of the side plots had a deeper dive into but overall and enjoyable read. I had the privilege of reading an advanced copy of this book! I really loved it! I got sucked in right away! I enjoyed the pace of the adventure and love story. It's a great continuation of the first book, transitioning to others as main characters for the story while maintaining the overall storyline. I can't wait to read the next book! )

Thea is a fallen angel and Mal'ek is a Centurian Dragon from Honduras. Their paths cross as they both search for a codex that they need for different reasons. They decide to work together and Mal'ek helps Thea work through some of her issues as they succumb to their attraction to one another. I enjoyed this book the further I got into it. Flames and Ashes is a fascinating story. Thea is a fallen Angel and Ma'lak is a Centurion dragon in Honduras. Flames and Ashes is the second book in the series. The storyline is so interesting.
