Fallen (The Guardian Series Book 2)

by A.J. Messenger

About this book

After finally surrendering to the magnetic pull between them, Declan Jane and Alexander Ronin are ready to embrace the future they fought so hard to secure. Their fledgling romance, forged in the fires of an intense slow-burn, is put to the ultimate test as the shadows of the past refuse to stay buried. In this gripping sequel, the stakes skyrocket when old enemies resurface with a vengeance, threatening to shatter the fragile peace Declan and Alexander have built.

As they navigate the treacherous halls of their academy and the darker realms of the supernatural, the couple must confront a devastating betrayal that leaves them physically and emotionally separated. The genre-defining tension of this paranormal romance is amplified by high-stakes suspense and the weight of ancient secrets. For fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope and the comfort of a found-family dynamic, this journey is as heart-wrenching as it is addictive.

Just when they need each other most, a guardian falls, proving that love alone may not be enough to survive the encroaching darkness. With every twist, the bond between these star-crossed protectors is pushed to the breaking point. If you crave an immersive story where celestial danger meets human passion, this is your next obsession.

Great Book

August 9, 2016

Fallen by AJ Messenger is the second book in the Guardian Series. The first book, Guardian was released in 2014 and was awesome. I loved the characters and the story that the author created. It was one of the first indie books I had discovered and I was amazed at how great it was. I had been very impatiently waiting for the next books in the series. I was thrilled that Fallen was released this summer and that the third book will be out in the fall. Fallen continues to follow Declan and...

I'm not a book conisour by any means but I very much enjoyed this book. All the twists and turns. I suspected that Burt was up to something, that he had something to do with Frank's demise. But the betrayal of the female guardian was a surprise. I liked Alexander's \"plan\" for them to finally be together. I read this book in one day. I couldn't sit down without picking up my kindle to read more. I can't wait to start book 3. ) One person found this helpful

Alexander breaks up with her, well...They mutually agree on a plan, but when he sees her kissing someone else, it might actually be true. How sad for everyone. But something isn't right and Declan ignores the warning bells in...

Really enjoyable

It’s not overly dramatic. The characters are sweet. A nice read that continues to pull you along. It is considered YA but the last scene isn’t necessarily graphic, I think it’s actually beautiful, but may not be good for younger audiences. I mean, I think it is fine but I know others share different opinions. )

Good but....

I got this book off amazon because its a small publisher so you can only get it through amazon that I could find. It is a good book and well written. The story line is good but is slow to move along and repetitive sometimes. It has few mature scenes so if you have children make sure to read it first. )
