Divine and Dateless (Eternally Yours)

by Tara West

About this book

Ash MacLeod is dead, but her afterlife is anything but peaceful. Stuck in the dismal, soul-crushing purgatory, she has one goal: earn her wings and trade her current dump for a luxury high-rise in Heaven. Between avoiding demons that want to make her a snack and dealing with the perpetual annoyance of dead relatives, Ash is desperate to climb the celestial ladder. However, her path to salvation takes a complicated turn when she finds herself dangerously distracted by a sinfully sexy grim reaper.

This hilarious paranormal romance flips the script on the afterlife, blending witty humor with sizzling chemistry. As a fallen angel trying to play by the rules, Ash struggles to balance her heavenly ambitions with the undeniable temptation of a man who represents everything she should be running from. It is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud journey through the absurdity of eternity where the stakes are high, but the romance is even hotter.

If you are looking for a divine escape filled with sharp wit, snarky internal monologues, and a classic fallen angel trope that feels fresh and fun, this is your next obsession. It is deliciously cute, divinely entertaining, and proof that even in the afterlife, love is the ultimate complication.

She won't know because she's got unknown connections that have her...

Absolutely hilarious! I was laughing out loud while reading this. For Ash, the FMC, if it can go wrong it does, but such a sexy grim reaper? Whoo-hoo! The story line was fast paced and the characters had spunk and snark. The steamy parts very well written. The unique take on the heaven/hell paradigm created in this story was creative and intriguing. I couldn’t wait to dive into the next book in the series. )

Interesting idea, hot and sweet man, interesting side kick this book had all those. What I had trouble with was the main female character. I wanted her to die again and disappear this time so we could get someone who wasn't such a selfish, whining, stupid brat. Maybe she's that way on purpose to show growth throughout the series, but there's none within the first book at all. I need something to like about the lead in order to continue paying for books. I didn't get that. She's so so so horny...

More than a pretty sarcasm

Light and fun, with enough emotions to make it worthwhile. Maybe too sarcastic to be labelled as light and fun? Anyway, I believe I am very happy with this book. Humor, steam, well written, good world building, epic monologues from the heroine … good main characters (there was some doubt for a while) and supporting cast. The heroine did threaten to brake my heart for a while but we got over it. The narrator is pretty good for this story. Ok, I was gonna give 4 stars in every category, After...
